Teacher Gift Guide Christmas 2020

It’s about that time of year again to start thinking about HOLIDAY TEACHER GIFTS! And since we haven’t been taking our kids out to Target and Walgreens every other day, you might be thinking, oh no, I should probably plan my teacher gifts this year before the 21st of December (if you're typically a last minute Lucy like me). Here’s your one stop shop! Talk about quick and easy!

This year is a special one and I’m excited to show the teachers in my family’s life appreciation through thoughtful gifts! I’m a district substitute so these are some real life, teacher suggested, gifts along with personal preferences and thoughts. Happy Shopping.

Our educators are teaching their students from their kitchen tables and living rooms. Others are on the front lines, teaching their students in person while making sure everyone is following guidelines, staying safe AND learning each day! Parents are homeschooling their children and doing their best to play teacher. What a wild few months it’s been.

If your neighbor is homeschooling their children or your child’s teacher is crushing it this school year (aren’t they all...) I urge you to check out some of these perfect gifts to put a smile on their face this holiday season!

1. Starbucks Holiday Ground Coffee Bundle - $26

This is the perfect gift for a few reasons. It’s shipped right to your door, perfect for male or female teachers and let’s be honest, what teacher doesn’t drink coffee?

2. Lilly Pulitzer Lanyard - $15

I may be biased but I’m pretty certain anyone would love a LP gift that they can use everyday! Teachers at my school have name badges and door badges so we go through lanyards pretty quick You’ll see a few additional lilly options below, too!

3. Stemless Wine Glass - $13-14

I’ve listed two options in my amazon store depending on your child’s learning situation this year. As a sub I can say, the “It’s 3:30 somewhere” glass would come in handy.

4. Burt’s Bees Gift Kit - $10

I’m not huge on gift sets but this one is golden. For ten bucks you have the sweetest holiday gift that your child’s teacher will actually use. Hand cream is going to come in handy this holiday season with all of the hand sanitizer we use each day!

5. Lilly Pulitzer Tumbler - $29

I have this tumbler and bring it to school everyday. It keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks icy cold. Fellow teachers always compliment this tumbler too. Everyone wants one!

6. Amazon Gift Card - $15+

Your teacher can literally buy anything. Something they need, something they want, probably something for their classroom if I could guess but regardless this leaves things up to them. Why not?

7. Desktop Organizer - $21

This comes in a few colors and is the perfect gift for any teacher! We're always trying to be more organized. Heck, we plan everything! Any organization tool will be so appreciated! Throw in a sweet card and a chocolate bar and you're set. **Pair this with the Bliss Collections Weekly Planner if you’re feeling extra generous!

8. Wax Oils Candle - $8 or any candle in your budget

These aromatherapy candles are super affordable and smell wonderful. Bonus, they are made in the USA! The Warm and Cozy candle is one of my favorites in my home if you’re looking to spend a little bit more.

9. Organic Lip Balm Set - $8

A set of organic lip balm would be the perfect

gift for anyone but ask any teacher, that stuff comes in handy in class because it’s as dry as the desert in some rooms. Also, lip balm makes wearing a mask all day a little more bearable!

10. Lilly Pulitzer Medium or Large 2021 Planner - $23+

I love my Lilly Pulitzer planner, it’s something I can’t typically function without. It’s the best one too, IMO. The bright colors re-energize me. The little motivational sayings cheer me up and remind me of why I do what I do. Teachers definitely need that every once in a while!

I hope you have found the perfect gift for the teacher(s) in your family’s life! Happy Shopping!
